Should you buy? the bane of buying super heroes, Updated Guide on Cash Hero
Before this i did 2 3 reviews on should you buy heroes, and was planning for more to come. However due to the recent patch from 1.5 - 1.7 i have seen an influx of a lot of cash hero offer.
To breakdown first i need to recap on the "value" of a Hero pack.
NOTE: This is written on patch 1.7
Using Dark Supergirl pack as an example. the 4 star pack gets you a 4 star hero, along with a full set of lv 20 gears and 1000 gems. A raw convert will be( in this case my local currency ) RM 87 gets you 1250 Gems and there was a time where you can trade 350 gems for 3500 gear shards. and it takes 6820 gear shards to level 20 per gear.
Base calculation. RM 80 for 1000 gems
700 gems per level 20 gear, total 3500 gems.
Roughly RM280 needed to buy 4500 gems
or RM 87 + RM 215 (1250 gems + 3400 gems)
previously i was using this calculation to judge the "value" of a cash hero pack, along with the line of "the cash package allows you to by pass the gem spending and rotation waiting time" and "Arena Grinding time"
Today as Arena is really competitive with the new 3 days per season. The statement hold true but up to a certain Point, MYTHIC WONDER WOMAN still holds the best cash Value. Both a powerhouse in both campaign and arena. Something that i needed to add in the viability of a Cash Hero in the future.

unless you are a completionist These 2 Hero SSH and BvS superman are optional as they are Movie promo character and compare to the game counterpart, not much difference. Some argue that they are weaker

This is the part that i have to make some amendments. paying cash to skip Time and Grind is ok, but the question is, is the hero worth it? as for the recent pool of non arena exclusive, they are not Top Tier hero, my suggestion is just grind it out on the long run. as they are not much in both competitive in Value. better spend on Cash Exclusive Hero
The new kid on the block
and old note of saving up and spending : Let's start off with the obvious, a payment of RM 105 let's you skip a month or more of grind for new players. Down to about Rm5 a day. An achievable goal to save. Worth trading cash to save time also there are extra gem in the mix.
Next up, top up an extra Rm 90 you gain an extra * to your character. By that extra * alone cost another solid month of grinding, on top of that 1000 gems is always a plus and a set of lv 20 gears take time as well.
more important the spending money is actually enjoy playing the game.
