Starting with the a famous recommendation pack from me. The mustang alpha Star citizen + Squadron 42 Combo pack at 65 USD. This is the best cheapest best pack for anyone new!
But wait what about the other packs? This is for those who wants to get a little more ship but also willing to help out the development of the game, it is not compulsory to pledge or spend more then the basic package.
So the next best pack is the Avenger Titan pack at 65 Dollars or 85 Dollars with Squadron 42. A great staple ship and the most recommended budget ship anyone wants to upgrade to or to start with.
Wait... What is Squadron 42? And why should I buy?
Good question. Currently Star citizen is the MMO sandbox of the game and Squadron 42 is a dedicated single player with an impressive voice cast. They cost 45 USD if bought individually.
Now comes the Valentine's Day special starter promo. The MISC Reliant Kore + S42 Combo Warbond at 90 USD.
And for those ship stats, The Reliant kore is a 2 seater ship. Meaning you can bring a friend along! And with the upcoming 3.8.2 patch the Reliant series is getting a very impressive upgrade.
Size 3 missile hardpoint ( now same with the Avenger Titan )
An extra pair gimbal mount totaling to 4 size 2 gimble weapon mount and 2 size 2 weapon hardpoint ( 2 size 1 gimble weapon mount ). Which is entering the anvil Hornet Damage output with less!
And a little health buff for longer* survivability.
Now that's a very good deal for new players, also it can haul cargo like the Avenger Titan, a bit less and for style factor the MISC Reliant takes the cake ~VERTICAL Ship~
Note that the Reliant combo is only worth buying during the promo Warbond price. More info on Warbond here.
