Star citizen a tale of game development

Greetings citizen,

It's 2019, with alpha 3.5 coming out very soon™ . Star citizen now does look more like a game, well a bit like an empty shell but at least it's a working.

With simple quest givers and a hand full of location to explore. Star citizen had come a long way.

With the current situation of AAA games being broken on release and fail launch demo giving money to pre order or not completed games in general is a bad idea and players starting to get the wrong idea on "the game" and awarding developer profit before release is a bad habit.

Now being said, Star Citizen is in a unique position where you can look at the current development as it's one of the most transparent game on development. And you get to decide if you want to contribute. A starter post of how to join/contribute the game will be link here.

A big warning is that this is NOT an investment.

Sadly with a rocky launch of many big AAA titles, like anthem. Big development games with huge promises is getting more attention from everyone. So having the ability to look into what is the current state of the game you want to play is very crucial.
