It's that concept sale! featuring the Greycat Industries ROC

2 week has pass, With a concept to flight ready vehicle being release i wanted to get the ROC for a full test but still unable to secure the credits to do at the moment. Well here we go.

the ROC is introduced as an advance ground mining vs the basic hand held mining. The only question would it perform better? with a tractor beam to help pickup the ores currently its the only thing the ROC is good, as a ground vehicle the cyclone can move faster and have better "options" and the Ursa is just plain better if mining as a group of people.

But as a group Operation the ROC truly shines when the load is split to 2 parts, the miners and the "runners". The ROC can only carry 0.8 SCU of cargo and there is currently no way to carry the cargo from the ROC to any cargo ship, so this portion of gameplay is not implemented yet. 

That leave us with just a bigger mining tool. Now at 55 USD and 50 USD warbond, Should you buy? at the current state. sadly the ROC will under perform as it is not operation at its full potential. So its a hard pass for those who wants immediate access to its efficiency. But for those who are willing to wait, The ROC will be an invaluable asset for small mining groups as there is a talk about driving in cave for cave mining. 

The ROC is also a good LTI token, a great pickup for those who wants to upgrade to a more expansive ship in the future.

Lastly the ROC can fit into a cutlass which CIG release a package with the Cutlass Black and the ROC for 140 USD warbond and 150 USD non warbond. Personally for those who are on the fence just get the Avenger Titan to ROC CCU or only 5 USD and wait for future implementation.
