My Star Citizen Fleet : Planetary vehicles

Greetings citizen,

Back again with another My Star Citizen Fleet. this round we will talk about ground vehicles as the tumbril ranger is on concept sale and I have yet to grab the 3 pack. 1 more week to go!

So let's begin, what ground vehicles would I be picking. We now have a the RSI Ursa rover, Drake dragonfly, aopoa Nox and Tumbril Cyclone in flight ready. The origin X series, RSI nova and the newly introduced Tumbril Ranger. That's 7 ground vehicle in total!

3 of them will have Grav technology, in which will have the ability to "fly" in space.

First we need to understand what use can we do with these and is there any available game mechanic that support this. Good news is that caving system is being developed and in theory only can be explore by foot or ground only vehicle.

Knowing this, then any of the hovering vehicles are the best choice as uneven terrain is always an issue for grounded vehicle. So the Dragonfly, Nox and the X series is the best choice not only for ground transportation but for space as well. Also they are considered as snub ships not vehicles.
But wait, the ground vehicles has something useful. Cargo.

Starting with the Cyclone and Ursa. Having space for not only Cargo but also Hand carry boxes as well. And the Cyclone comes with not only that but with better utilities like a scanner or an anti air platform, very useful. The RSI Nova, well it's a tank. The only the Ranger suffer a little in terms of utility as only 1 version have cargo.

Now being said. These are the in-game price for some of those flight ready vehicles.

Dragonfly 74800 aUEC
Tumbril Cyclone 26500 aUEC

With this 2 price, I will assume that the 3 hover vehicle will be more pricy then the ground vehicle as they are categorised as snub and not vehicle. So buying the ground vehicle would be cheaper(?) In-game.

Time to choose.

No preference yet, for the dragonfly, Nox and X.

Cyclone-RN for Scanning.

Ranger CV for cargo run.

But out of everything I would pay real money for the Nova Tank, because well it's a tank. More importantly trying to live up to the Halo scorpion and pelican combo.

But one thing for sure most of this vehicles are mostly served as an LTI token.
