Should you play : The Sims Mobile

Have been playing the game for a couple of weeks.

Time for a review.

Should you play, The Sims mobile?

Starting off, the Sims is a game where you control your very own family of Sims. Going on with their daily lives. Working, sleeping, having a relationship, having kids and life stuff.

Unfortunately the Sims mobile strip the core component of the game itself, having a "day cycle"
A typical sim game is where your Sims needs to eat sleep and keep them clean if not they cannot perform their daily routine or worse die.

This game however focus only on "building and decorating house" and "work / social story" which to me is a terrible game and a sign of a heavy cash game.

How so?

In order to decorate your house you need to work. And I meant a lot! The work mini game is basically send your sim to work and then either wait for a a few hours or accelerated it by active playing which require energy, which can be replenish overtime or by an item, or ultimately use a cash currency to finish.

This is the core gameplay for the Sims mobile. At first it was ok as all the careers have a mini story and it takes 10 levels to reach the top.

Other then working the are also a hobby mini story which works almost the same as working and lastly socialising.

3 different mini game with the same game mechanic, but only 1 brings in the cash to buy stuff. Sounds fun?

Of course it does but after a day or 2 it becomes a chore. Because there is nothing else more your Sims can do. Most of the "cool" stuff is locked behind a leveling system and cash items.

Having higher tier or cooler items doesn't feel it impact your Sims daily routine, it doesn't add any interesting gameplay, except those special event cash items where it just felt watered down from the actual game itself.

However I do see some novelty, since is F2P, collecting a set furniture and really that's it... hardly any self interaction like you see in the sim games, no micro life management needed, you can just keep chucking your sim to work all day for eternity.

There are many thing self to desire more from this game, but it just fall flat.

Should you play?

Maybe for a week. Or just finish the mini story they offer,it really test your patience It's hardly any worth for more time.

Especially money, Do not spend any on the Sims mobile.
Money is better spend on the proper game on PC instead.
As for me, I would try to at least get the all? the mini story done.
